Hi,

I noticed that OMEdit accepts negative start times. Why is this allowed? Shouldn't the minimum startime be zero?

Why would negative time not make sense? Let's say you want to simulate a civilization from 500 BC to 1800 AD and select time=1 year, with positive values as AD

Thanks for the information. It makes a lot of sense now that you gave this example. I was of the impression that startTime should always be zero until i put a negative value by mistake.

It often makes sense if you simulate some event that happens at time = 0. It also doesn't make sense to restrict everything for no reason.
